What is a peg?  A peg is defined as being a short cylindrical piece of wood, metal, or plastic, typically tapered at one end, that is used for holding things together, hanging things on, or marking a position.  A peg holds things together, supports things, it provides strength.  It is with this concept in mind that we are starting a P.E.G. for our parents, that is to say a Parent Encouragement Group.  A group of parents, all raising young adults, encouraging each other, supporting each other, holding each other up!  This group meets @ Scott and Doreen Clark’s house (1164 Summerlake Dr., Alexandria, KY 41001).  This will be a time of fellowship, sharing, prayer, and encouragement!  This will not be a time for politics or complaining, but a time of encouragement with fellow adults trying to figure out the plans Jesus has for us as parents.

If you are interested in joining this group, and we hope you are, please call, text or email Scott or Doreen at 859-620-4406(Doreen), 859-620-4408, robert.clark@uc.edu (Scott). Oh yeah, we will have refreshments as well so if you want to help with that…you know what to do!

NEXT MEETING: Sunday, April 15th @ 6:30pm
